On a non-GAAP basis, the company’s figures were similarly strong, with an operating income of $96.1 million and a net income of $88.2 million.
Astera Labs also highlighted its strategic initiatives, including a definitive agreement to acquire aiXscale Photonics GmbH, a firm specializing in fiber-chip coupling technologies. This acquisition is seen as pivotal for scaling up connectivity solutions that meet the aggressive bandwidth needs required for large AI infrastructures, enhancing Astera Labs’ capabilities in photonic connectivity.
During the recent Open Compute Project Global Summit, the company demonstrated its commitment to AI rack-scale infrastructure, unveiling an extensive portfolio of connectivity solutions built on open standards such as PCIe, Ethernet, and CXL. Live demonstrations showcased innovative silicon, hardware, and software designed to enhance the performance and flexibility of rack-scale systems.
In addition, Astera Labs has embarked on new collaborations with various industry giants, including AMD and Arm, to accelerate the development and deployment of AI Infrastructure 2.0 through open standards.
