The team behind the anime adaptation of Kotobukiya’s Arcanadea bishōjo plastic model series has recently released an early “super teaser promotional video.” This exciting development reveals that voice actress Kaede Hondo will be reprising her role as Lumitea in the anime. Hondo has previously portrayed this character in a short video version of the franchise’s four-panel manga, YuruCanadea, also known as YuruCana.
Expressing her enthusiasm for returning to the character, Hondo remarked, “I’ve always felt like I was building up Lumitea’s charm together with the creators, so I’m truly happy to continue playing her. It might be a coincidence, but it feels like we share a love for the same ramen or seasonings! I’d like to cherish this connection in the future.”
Anime fans can look forward to more information, which will be unveiled during TV Asahi’s industry panel at Anime Expo 2025 on July 5.
