Arc Raiders, the popular extraction shooter, is reportedly on the verge of surpassing 12 million sales as of early 2026, according to insights from video game industry analysts. Rhys Elliot of Alinea Analytics stated that this impressive sales figure is the result of combined sales across PC, Xbox, and PS5 platforms. Notably, January 4th marked a monumental day for the game, reaching a peak of approximately 3.2 million daily active users across all platforms.
Elliot attributes this spike in daily active users to a strategically timed sale during the Christmas holidays, which provided a 20 percent discount on all platforms. He noted that while sales had stabilized by early December, the holiday promotion revived interest and boosted sales figures significantly.
Although Alinea Analytics does not have access to Embark Studios’ internal sales data, their track record of accurately estimating game sales lends credibility to these claims. Previously, they accurately reported on milestones for other games, such as when Arc Raiders reached 2.5 million sales and Battlefield 6 achieved 7 million sales shortly after its release.
Additionally, Alinea Analytics reports that over 50 percent of Arc Raiders’ player base is on Steam, and surpassing the 12 million sales mark could imply that the game has generated over $350 million in revenue. Since its launch last year, Arc Raiders has maintained a strong presence in the gaming market and was recognized as the best-selling title during the recent holiday season. As new details about the game’s sophisticated matchmaking system and other features continue to emerge, it seems that Arc Raiders is well on its way to achieving even greater success in the future. The game’s ongoing popularity reflects not only its engaging mechanics but also the effective marketing strategies employed by its developers.
