Apple is set to unveil its iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025, generating significant excitement ahead of the official launch. This series will include four models: the standard iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Notably, Apple will replace the “Plus” model with the new, ultra-slim “Air” version, marking a significant shift in its product line.
Design-wise, the iPhone 17 Air might be the highlight as it is projected to be Apple’s thinnest iPhone at just 5.5mm, showcasing a 6.6-inch display and a distinctive horizontal camera bar with a single rear lens. RAM options will reportedly vary between 8GB and 12GB, depending on the model.
Camera upgrades are also anticipated, with a 24MP front camera across all models. The iPhone 17 Air is speculated to have a single 48MP rear camera, while the iPhone 17 may feature a dual-camera system (48MP + 12MP). The Pro models are rumored to include a triple-lens 48MP setup equipped with a Tetraprism lens, offering 3.5x optical zoom, 7x lossless zoom, along with capabilities for recording in 8K.
Pricing details suggest the base iPhone 17 may start around Rs 89,900 in India, while the Air could be priced at Rs 99,900. The Pro and Pro Max models may retail for Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,64,900 respectively. In the United States, starting prices are expected to be around $899, with the base model in Dubai estimated to cost approximately AED 3,799.
