For a monthly fee of $19.99, AppleCare One provides coverage for up to three devices. If customers wish to add additional devices, they can do so for an extra $5.99 per month for each device.
Similar to the existing AppleCare Plus plan, AppleCare One offers comprehensive support that includes battery coverage, unlimited repairs for accidental damage, and 24/7 priority customer service. One of the most notable features of AppleCare One is its flexibility in adding older devices; customers can include products that are up to four years old in their plan, a significant increase from the 60-day window offered by AppleCare Plus. However, Apple stipulates that these older devices must be in “good condition” and may require diagnostic checks before they can be added. Additionally, headphones can only be included if they are less than one year old.
AppleCare One also includes Theft and Loss coverage for iPads and Apple Watches, following similar offerings under AppleCare Plus for iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. This added layer of protection demonstrates Apple’s commitment to safeguarding its customers’ investments.
Customers can start enrolling in AppleCare One from any iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or directly at an Apple Store, with availability set for July 24th.
