The Chicago Sky forward joined the brand’s illustrious “Wings Reveal” lineup, showcasing her talents beyond the basketball court.
“This was destined for me,” Reese expressed in an interview leading up to the show. “I’m so happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing models and women. The team behind this has been incredible, and I’m just excited.”
To prepare for her debut, Reese enlisted the help of a modeling coach to refine her runway walk. “I walk, sleep, hoop,” she joked. “And I hoop, sleep, walk.”
During the event, the 6-foot-3 athlete graced the runway adorned in a pink floral lingerie set accented with delicate lace and complemented by a dramatic feathered stole in soft pink and rose hues. Reese proudly donned the iconic angel wings that have been a hallmark of the show for years, all while strutting to the beats of Lumidee’s “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh).”
Reese, a former national champion with Louisiana State University and the NCAA tournament’s most outstanding player in 2023, fulfilled one of her major aspirations by gracing the prestigious catwalk. Celebrity stylist Law Roach, who co-hosted the pink carpet, shared the significance of the moment, stating, “One of her biggest dreams was to walk this show. For that to happen in a year or less, she looks stunning and is ready. It makes me proud because she has a deep connection with the girls I work with.”
The show, livestreamed across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Prime Video, featured a blend of music and celebrity performances. Madison Beer, K-pop group TWICE, and Karol G were among the performers, enhancing the spectacular atmosphere of the event.
