Authorities in Phoenix have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 3-year-old girl named Kehlani Rogers, who was last seen on Friday night in Avondale. The alert was raised after concerns grew for her safety.
Kehlani was reportedly seen near 118th and Edgemont avenues around 11:30 p.m. She is described as being 3 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build, brown eyes, and braided brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was dressed in pink pajamas.
The child is believed to be with a woman identified only as “Merena.” This individual is described as a 30-year-old with brown hair and hazel eyes, possessing a short stature and thin build. It is noted that Merena is not related to Kehlani. During her last sighting, she wore a white shirt with either pink or purple pants.
The Avondale Police Department has expressed concern for Kehlani’s wellbeing, emphasizing that she could be in danger. They have notified local hospitals and agencies about the situation, yet there have been no reports of her being found.
