Aloha Taveuni secured the title of Under-21 Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s champions by defeating Kasabias Village Boys with a decisive score of 19–0 in the final, which took place at Subrail Park yesterday. The match began with Aloha establishing dominance right from the first whistle, as players Jone Baleivanua and Solo Tavalea each scored tries, bringing the halftime score to 14–0.

Despite challenging field conditions characterized by mud and slipperiness, both teams exhibited resilience and determination throughout the match. Aloha continued to build their momentum in the second half, with Mika Bolo scoring a try just one minute in, solidifying their lead at 19–0. Their cohesive gameplay and relentless pressure contributed significantly to their victory.

Post-match, Coach Malakai Tuleca expressed heartfelt gratitude for the win, stating, “Thank God for the win. Without Him we would not have achieved this. I also thank our families and supporters for their continuous support.”

In addition to Aloha’s triumph, the tournament featured other exciting outcomes. Nasavu Brothers claimed the Under-21 Bowl title after narrowly defeating Domoniwai Highlanders with a score of 5–0 in a fierce battle. Meanwhile, St Theresa Nukubalavu showed strong attacking prowess to win the Under-21 Plate title, overcoming RKS Old Boys with a convincing 26–14 victory.
