He has secured 1,568,527 votes, making him the top player in the fan balloting.
Ohtani, who has excelled as a two-way player, has accumulated an MLB-best 73 runs, along with a .297 batting average, 25 home runs, and 11 stolen bases. He is currently positioned as the leading vote-getter among National League players with 1,398,771 votes. Ohtani is set to pitch against the San Diego Padres tonight, marking his first mound appearance since August 23, 2023, when he was with the Los Angeles Angels.
The All-Star Game voting this year is comprised of two rounds, with the current phase running until June 26. After this stage, the top two vote-getters at each position will enter a run-off to determine the starters for the All-Star Game scheduled for July 15 at Truist Field in Atlanta.
