Alix Earle Rallies Behind Braxton Berrios After Injury Heartbreak

Alix Earle is publicly expressing her support for boyfriend Braxton Berrios following his recent season-ending injury. The Miami Dolphins wide receiver, 29, announced on Instagram that he is “heartbroken” after tearing his ACL during a game against the Indianapolis Colts on October 20.

In his Instagram post, Berrios reflected on the challenges ahead, stating, “The road ahead is measured in months and not days, but I find comfort in knowing I’ve been here before.” He emphasized the value of perseverance through adversity, writing about the pain that accompanies the pursuit of hard-to-reach goals. He quoted Kobe Bryant, saying, “If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear,” highlighting his determination to overcome this setback.

Earle, 23, known for her role on the “Hot Mess with Alix Earle” podcast, showed her support in the comments with a simple “I love you ❤️.” She also shared Berrios’ post on her Instagram Stories, commenting on the unpredictability of sports and expressing admiration for his dedication. “You inspire me day in and day out, and I have no doubt you will be back and better in no time. Proud to be by your side and cheer you on,” she said.

Earle and Berrios’s relationship began when they met at a Miami party in February 2023, with their dating announcement coming in November during her appearance on “Call Her Daddy.” In a recent podcast episode, Earle discussed the initial hesitation she felt about dating Berrios, saying, “The last thing on earth that I want is a boyfriend.” However, as they got to know each other, she recognized that he was an ideal partner.

Earle also encouraged her listeners to embrace being single if they find themselves in unsatisfactory relationships, emphasizing the importance of personal happiness and fulfillment within a partnership. She stated that if her relationship with Berrios were not fulfilling, she would not hesitate to prioritize her independence.
