Air Canada has launched a new direct flight service connecting Montréal to Naples, Italy, representing a significant milestone in the airline’s international offerings. The inaugural flight, which took off earlier today, establishes the first nonstop route to this historically rich Italian city and expands Air Canada’s connections with Italy to four cities, including Rome, Milan, and Venice.
Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm for the new route, emphasizing its importance as it opens up not just Naples, but also the stunning Amalfi Coast and iconic sites such as Pompeii for Canadian travelers. He highlighted that Air Canada has served the Italian market since 2005, continually contributing to the growth of tourism and business relations between Canada and Italy. With the addition of this route, Air Canada is offering up to 39 weekly flights, providing Canadians with over 13,000 seats weekly to major Italian destinations.
The new flights from Montréal to Naples will operate four times a week, with schedules set to accommodate peak travel seasons from May 16 to October 24, 2025. Departures from Montréal will be at 7:35 PM, landing in Naples the following morning. Return flights from Naples will be available on four different days of the week.
