The 2024 finale of America’s Got Talent has officially revealed its winner! The season 19 champion will receive a generous prize of a $1 million annuity.
The finale showcased a lineup of ten talented finalists: AIRFOOTWORKS, Brent Street, Dee Dee Simon, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, Learnmore Jonasi, Richard Goodall, Roni Sagi & Rhythm, Sebastián & Sonia, Sky Elements, and Solange Kardinaly. This star-studded event featured special performances from Olympic champion Simone Biles, The Voice coach Michael Bublé, guitarist Neal Schon along with members of Journey, DJ Steve Aoki, comedian Gabriel Iglesias, the cast of MAGIC MIKE LIVE in Las Vegas, singer Andra Day, and AGT favorite Detroit Youth Choir.
The show commenced with a dazzling Sky Elements drone display and a performance by the Detroit Youth Choir, who were introduced by host Terry Crews. Following their opening, Olympian Simone Biles took the stage to discuss her impressive achievements and the importance of dedication in entertainment.
As the show continued, odd choreography unfolded as Simone introduced dance groups Roni Sagi & Rhythm and Hakuna Matata Acrobats, who performed together unexpectedly. Later, Simon Cowell humorously promoted his new line of orange-tinted glasses.
Michael Bublé entertained the audience with his rendition of “L-O-V-E” before Andra Day appeared alongside Sebastián & Sonia, Dee Dee Simon, and the Detroit Youth Choir for a collaborative performance.
The act that seemed poised to win, Richard Goodall, joined Journey’s Neal Schon for a rendition of “Don’t Stop Believing,” celebrating his recent marriage in the process.
Comedian Gabriel Iglesias shared a highlight from his Vegas show featuring Learnmore Jonasi, who was thrilled to open for him. Later, Solange Kardinaly and the cast of Magic Mike Live captivated the audience with a lively performance.
After a montage of heartfelt messages and memories from the top contenders, the moment everyone awaited arrived. The top five acts were revealed: Sky Elements, Learnmore Jonasi, Richard Goodall, Solange Kardinaly, and Roni Sagi & Rhythm.
In a series of announcements, the order of elimination progressed, with Learnmore Jonasi and Solange Kardinaly being sent home in fifth and fourth places, respectively. Sky Elements took third place.
The grand finale culminated in the announcement of Richard Goodall as the 2024 AGT champion, with Roni Sagi & Rhythm finishing in second place.
