Aggies Gear Up for Exciting Showdown Against Houston at Fall Exhibition

The Texas A&M baseball team is set to wrap up its fall exhibition schedule on Friday evening, hosting Houston at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will consist of 12 innings. Admission and parking are free, and concession stands will be available for fans.

In their fall opener, the Aggies achieved a dominant 20-2 victory in 12 innings against Houston Christian, utilizing 17 position players and 12 pitchers. A standout performance came from a sophomore who went 3-for-4, contributing a home run, a triple, and four RBIs. The pitching staff showcased their talent by striking out 17 batters, with one pitcher recording three strikeouts in a scoreless inning.

This season marks the first for Texas A&M under head coach, who previously assisted the team to two College World Series appearances in the past three years. Under his guidance, the Aggies have evolved into a formidable offensive force in college baseball.

Texas A&M returns 22 players from last year’s team, which made it to the College World Series Finals, including three All-Americans. The offseason also saw the addition of promising newcomers, with seven players featuring on Baseball America’s annual top-100 transfers list.

Last season, the Aggies beat Houston at Blue Bell Park, securing a 13-11 win. Fans can find more information about Texas A&M baseball online and stay updated by following the team on Facebook, Instagram, and X at @aggiebaseball.
