The Texas A&M baseball team will wrap up its fall exhibition schedule on Friday night, facing Houston at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The game is set to begin at 6 p.m. and will feature 12 innings of play. Admission and parking are both free, with concession stands available for attendees.
In their fall opener, the Aggies showcased a dominant performance, defeating Houston Christian 20-2 over the same length. A standout from that game was a sophomore player who excelled with a 3-for-4 performance that included a home run, a triple, and four RBIs. On the pitching side, the Texas A&M staff struck out a total of 17 batters, with one pitcher recording three strikeouts in a flawless inning.
This season marks the first for Texas A&M under head coach, who has previously led the team to two College World Series appearances during his tenure as an assistant over the past three years. Coach Earley has been instrumental in cultivating a powerful offensive lineup for the Aggies.
The team returns 22 players from last season’s roster that reached the College World Series Finals, featuring three All-Americans. Additionally, Coach Earley and his staff have brought in a strong group of new talent, including seven players who earned spots on Baseball America’s annual top-100 transfers list.
Last season, Texas A&M and Houston faced each other at Blue Bell Park, with the Aggies securing a close victory of 13-11. For more updates on Texas A&M baseball, fans can visit the official website and follow @aggiebaseball on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X.
