Agatha Harkness Returns: Unraveling the Magic in Her New Series!

Agatha Harkness returns in her own spinoff series titled “Agatha All Along,” which takes place after the popular Marvel series “WandaVision.”

In this new series, the witch is working to form a new coven following her confrontation with the Scarlet Witch in “WandaVision,” and she is now faced with the challenge of breaking free from a spell.

Kathryn Hahn reprises her role as Agatha Harkness in the series. Notably, Elizabeth Olsen, who portrayed Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch, in “WandaVision,” is not part of the cast for “Agatha All Along.” Olsen has embodied the character since her debut in the post-credit scene of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” in 2014, and she returned to the role in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which follows “WandaVision.”

The series is set to premiere soon, and viewers can anticipate details on the episode release schedule.

The premise of “Agatha All Along” revolves around a teenager who frees Agatha from a “distorted spell” and requests her guidance along the Witches’ Road—a mystical series of trials that bestows power upon surviving witches, according to Disney+’s official site. The plot centers on Agatha assembling a new coven and striving to reclaim her lost powers.

Teasers for the show suggest Agatha’s journey occurs after Wanda has drained her abilities. In one preview, Rio Vidal, played by Aubrey Plaza, tells Agatha, “That witch is gone… leaving you trapped in her distorted spell.”

The cast of “Agatha All Along” includes:

– Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness
– Joe Locke as the Teen
– Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale
– Ali Ahn as Alice Wu-Gulliver
– Maria Dizzia in an undisclosed role
– Paul Adelstein as Sheriff Miller
– Miles Gutierrez-Riley in an undisclosed role
– Okwui Okpokwasili in an undisclosed role
– Debra Jo Rupp returning as Mrs. Hart
– Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu
– Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal

The series will debut with two episodes on Wednesday, September 18, and will be exclusively available for streaming on Disney+, starting at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT, as announced by Disney+.

For those who may not have watched “WandaVision,” it’s essential to note its storyline, which aired in 2021. The series followed Wanda Maximoff and her husband, Vision, after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Wanda uses her powers to bring Vision back to life after his death in “Avengers: Infinity War,” creating a spell that erases the memories of the townspeople in Westview. Agatha Harkness, a centuries-old witch, infiltrates Wanda’s life and ultimately unveils her true intentions.

The song “Agatha All Along” plays during a pivotal montage when Agatha reveals her identity, leading to a confrontation where the Scarlet Witch ultimately overpowers Agatha, trapping her within Westview and erasing her memory.
