Aerosmith and Yungblud Unveil Desert Road Version Featuring Steve Martin

Aerosmith and Yungblud have unveiled a fresh take on their recent single, “My Only Angel,” with an innovative “Desert Road Version” featuring the distinct banjo styling of actor and comedian Steve Martin. This collaboration came to fruition when Steven Tyler, the frontman of Aerosmith, reached out to Martin, who recorded his contributions remotely.

Originally released in September, “My Only Angel” marks Aerosmith’s first new music since their 2012 album, “Music from Another Dimension!” This partnership was sparked after Yungblud and Aerosmith reimagined a segment of Yungblud’s nine-minute track “Hello Heaven, Hello.” This creative merging led to collaborative writing sessions, and fans can look forward to the full “One More Time” EP, set to release on November 21. The EP will include three more collaborations—”Problems,” “Wild Woman,” and “A Thousand Days”—along with a reworked version of Aerosmith’s classic hit “Back In The Saddle.”

Yungblud is currently wrapping up the European leg of his Idols World Tour, with four shows in the U.S. scheduled for next month. Looking ahead, he will bring his dynamic performances to Australia in the new year, followed by an extensive North American tour that includes stops in the UK come April.

As Yungblud continues to capture global attention with his electrifying shows and unique sound, the collaboration with Aerosmith adds another exciting chapter to his evolving career, demonstrating the impressive synergy of artists from different genres and generations. Fans can anticipate not only new music but also an exciting tour lineup as both artists continue to engage audiences worldwide.
