Two additional men have come forward to accuse Michael Tait, the renowned Christian rock artist and prominent figure in the MAGA movement, of drugging and sexually assaulting them. Among the accusers is Jason Jones, who was the founding manager of the band Evanescence. Jones claims he was dismissed from his management role in 1999 after speaking out about his alleged assault by Tait, which he believes has significantly impacted his life and career.
According to Jones, he was falsely led to believe he would achieve his aspirations with Evanescence, a band that later found immense success starting in 2003. “It destroyed me,” he stated, referring to the incident and its aftermath.
