Tyler Fulghum has expressed confidence in the San Francisco 49ers as they prepare for their crucial Week 15 clash against the Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers are facing a challenging situation, currently holding a 6-7 record and needing a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive.
In the lead-up to the game, the 49ers received some encouraging news with running back Isaac Guerendo declared active despite previously spraining his foot. Sources confirm that Guerendo feels ready to contribute, having made a strong impact in his recent performance against the Chicago Bears where he rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, along with two receptions for 50 yards.
Additionally, the 49ers have welcomed linebacker Dre Greenlaw back from the PUP list, marking his return from a torn Achilles sustained during last year’s Super Bowl. Defensive end Nick Bosa is also back in action after dealing with hip and oblique issues, having missed three games.
Despite the positive developments, the 49ers must contend with some setbacks as left tackle Trent Williams, safety Malik Mustapha, and guard Ben Bartch have all been ruled out due to injuries. Bartch has now been placed on injured reserve.
Given the circumstances, if Guerendo is limited during the game, Patrick Taylor Jr. is next in line for backfield responsibilities, supported by practice squad member Ke’Shawn Vaughn and newly added Israel Abanikanda.
Guerendo’s recent performance positions him among franchise greats, as he is now one of only four players in 49ers history to achieve over 100 scrimmage yards and score at least two touchdowns in his first starting game.
As the 49ers regroup, they demonstrate resilience and determination to overcome injuries and chase their playoff dreams, uplifting the team’s spirit during this pivotal moment in the season.
