Bruce Hector, 30, was initially signed by the Lions following his release from the Tennessee Titans in July 2021. He made a modest impact during his tenure in Detroit, appearing in three games and recording five combined tackles. Hector’s career has taken him through several NFL teams, including the Eagles, Cardinals, and Jets.
Greg Joseph, 31, had a brief spell with the Lions’ practice squad this past September before being signed by the New York Giants. Previously, he made headlines as a key player in a memorable Lions vs. Vikings game in 2021, where he successfully kicked a 54-yard field goal at the last second to secure a dramatic 19-17 victory.
