2026 Hollywood Walk of Fame Class Unveiled: Stars Align for Music Legends!

Miley Cyrus, Josh Groban, Lyle Lovett, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony lead an impressive lineup of music celebrities set to be honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026. This announcement was made during a live press conference from Ovation Hollywood on July 2. In total, 35 influential figures from music, film, television, live theater, and sports entertainment have been selected for this prestigious recognition.

Among the honorees, six have won Grammy Awards: Cyrus, Lovett, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Clark Sisters, Intocable, and Angélique Kidjo. Notably, Intocable has not only won two Grammys but has also been awarded three Latin Grammys, highlighting their extraordinary impact in the music industry.

Additionally, three actors known for portraying music legends in film are included in this year’s group: Timothée Chalamet, who received an Oscar nomination for his role as Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown”; Rami Malek, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody”; and Marion Cotillard, Oscar-winning actress for her role as Edith Piaf in “La Vie En Rose.” It’s worth mentioning that Mercury was posthumously awarded a star in 2002 alongside his fellow Queen band members.

Posthumous tributes will be given to renowned British director Tony Scott and Italian special effects artist Carlo Ramboldi, both of whom passed away in 2012. The legacy of the entertainment world continues with honors for multiple artists from various countries, including the Australian pop group Air Supply, Brazilian musician Paulinho da Costa, and British actress Emily Blunt.

The ‘Brat Pack’ from the 1980s is represented by Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald, who join the ranks of previous honorees including Rob Lowe, recognized in 2015. The selection process for these stars involved the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s selection panel, which carefully considered hundreds of nominations before finalizing the list.

Peter Roth, former CEO of Warner Bros. Television and chairman of the Walk of Fame selection committee, expressed his excitement regarding the new roster, stating that these individuals have made remarkable contributions to the field of entertainment and thoroughly deserve this recognition.

While dates for the star ceremonies have yet to be determined, recipients have two years from their selection date to schedule their ceremonies. Announcements of the upcoming ceremonies will be made approximately 10 days in advance on the official Walk of Fame website. This new class of honorees reflects the rich tapestry of talent and creativity that continues to shape the entertainment landscape.
