The Higher Education Institutions Examination (2025-YKS) results have been released by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), revealing important statistics regarding candidate performances.
According to the data, a total of 2,560,649 candidates registered for the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), of which 209,008 candidates secured scores of 550 and above. In addition, the report indicates that in the subject-specific tests, 171,117 candidates out of 1,721,057 who took the Area Proficiency Test (AYT) and 59,411 out of 215,451 candidates in the Foreign Language Test (YDT) did not participate in the exams.
Furthermore, of those who took the exams, a total of 311 candidates had their results declared invalid: 244 from the TYT, 57 from the AYT, and 10 from the YDT.
Additional insights reveal that in the TYT category alone, 2,310,579 candidates scored 115 and above, while in the other categories, 1,291,531 candidates in mathematics, 1,174,047 in verbal, 1,494,612 in equal weight, and 140,657 in language also achieved scores above this threshold.
These results reflect the competitive nature of the examinations and the high number of candidates achieving satisfactory scores, giving hope for future educators and professionals in various fields.
