The baseball season may have concluded for now, but the excitement in the sports card hobby continues with the upcoming release of two highly anticipated products from Topps. Pre-orders for the 2025 editions of Topps Pristine and Bowman’s Best Baseball will open on Monday, January 5th, providing collectors with fresh opportunities to add to their collections.

Starting with Topps Pristine, known for its premium quality, the pre-order will take place at 12 PM EST. While the exact pricing for this year’s edition remains undisclosed, last year’s price range hovered between $350 and $400. Unique in its design, Topps Pristine features a pack within a pack, and each box is expected to contain an average of three hits, which includes two autographs and one autographed relic. Collectors will be working towards assembling a base set consisting of 300 cards, though with only 48 cards per box, set builders might face a challenge.

Preview images of the autograph checklist have begun to surface, showcasing big names like Derek Jeter and Roki Sasaki, with more signers to be confirmed in the near future. Jeter’s autograph will appear in a special subset titled Italics, distinguished by its tiled background design.

Following closely is the 2025 Bowman’s Best Baseball, whose pre-order will commence at 1 PM EST on the same day. Designed to maintain its tradition, Bowman’s Best is anticipated to include a configuration similar to last year’s, featuring 12 packs with five cards each and four autographs per box. Notably, the Strokes of Gold insert will make a return, showcasing a striking black background contrasted by gold paint effects, making it a sought-after short print among collectors.

Patch autographs will be a significant highlight this year, as evidenced by a preview featuring Jac Caglianone’s “1st Patch” autograph card, which adds to the excitement surrounding burgeoning prospects.

With the emergence of these two products, Topps is set to satisfy the craving of baseball collectors eager for new releases. Together, Topps Pristine and Bowman’s Best offer an array of chase-worthy autographs and inserts, ensuring that the hobby remains vibrant and engaging.

Both products will be available for pre-sale on the Topps website starting tomorrow, marking an exciting opportunity for collectors to get their hands on the latest offerings in baseball cards. This launch not only revitalizes interest in the hobby during the offseason but also highlights the community’s enthusiasm for collecting.
