A recent study conducted by Kuzyk Law has revealed that Florida ranks as the eighth most active state in the United States for searches related to pedestrian accident attorneys in 2025. This study utilized data from Google Keyword Planner, focusing on popular search terms such as “pedestrian accident lawyer,” “pedestrian accident attorney near me,” and “crosswalk accident lawyer.”

The findings highlighted that Florida saw an average of 26.93 searches per 100,000 residents, which is significantly higher than the national average of 17.22 searches. With a population of approximately 23.8 million, Florida accounted for around 6,420 searches per month related to legal representation for pedestrian accidents. The most frequently searched terms included “pedestrian accident lawyer near me” and “pedestrian car accident lawyer.”

Mark Anderson, an attorney at Kuzyk Law, commented on the study’s implications, stating, “Florida’s ranking reflects continued pedestrian safety challenges, especially in busy urban and coastal regions. High tourism and elderly populations may be driving the increased demand for pedestrian accident legal representation.” This insight points to the ongoing issues surrounding pedestrian safety in the state, particularly in areas that attract a large number of tourists and have significant senior demographics.

The study ranks the top ten states searching for pedestrian accident attorneys as follows: South Carolina, Nebraska, North Carolina, Georgia, California, North Dakota, New York, Florida, Colorado, and Arkansas. South Carolina topped the list with an impressive 106.29 searches per 100,000 residents, indicating that pedestrian safety remains a critical concern across the nation.
