Additionally, several restaurants will offer free meals or discounts to veterans and active service members on this day, with popular locations such as Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Denny’s participating.
Public transportation services, such as NJ Transit, will have modified schedules in place, operating on a weekend/holiday schedule, while some towns will maintain regular garbage pickup. Active and retired military personnel will have free access to NJ Transit services upon showing a valid military ID.
