Team Canada Unveils Jerseys for Milan 2026 Olympics and Paralympics

Hockey Canada has proudly presented the new jerseys for the men’s, women’s, and para hockey teams that will represent Canada at the upcoming 2026 Olympics and Paralympics in Milan. These jerseys are designed to embody the enduring spirit and legacy of Canadian hockey.

The white jersey features a striking red maple leaf crest, complemented by red striping on the sleeves and hem, and red numbers. The alternate jersey is predominantly red, adorned with a black maple leaf, black stripes, and white numbers. The design aims to reflect an “unbreakable diamond,” symbolizing the resilience of Canadian hockey legends past and present, who have thrived under pressure.

Katherine Henderson, Hockey Canada’s CEO, expressed excitement about the unveiling, emphasizing the jerseys’ role in representing Canadians globally. She highlighted how these jerseys encapsulate the pride and passion seen in Canadian hockey fans, as athletes look to secure gold medals in Italy.

The new jerseys were crafted by Nike and showcased during the first intermission of the Canada-USA women’s hockey Rivalry Series. Fans can purchase replica jerseys made by Bauer starting November 7 on Hockey Canada’s online store, with wider retail availability beginning November 14.

David Shoemaker, CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee, noted that these jerseys are more than just uniforms; they represent the rich history of Canada’s Olympic hockey tradition. With the NHL players returning to the Olympics and the first Games since the establishment of the Professional Women’s Hockey League, 2026 promises to be a historic moment for hockey fans.

The women’s tournament is set to kick off on February 5, with Team Canada aiming for consecutive gold medals, followed by the men’s tournament starting February 11, which marks the return of NHL players to the Olympics after an absence since 2014. The initial roster for the men’s team includes hockey stars like Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid. The para hockey tournament will commence on March 6.

Finland has already unveiled its Olympic jerseys, while the U.S. is expected to reveal its designs later this month. As anticipation builds for the games, the new Team Canada jerseys are a symbol of national pride and competitive spirit that fans will proudly support in Milan.
