Filming for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has officially concluded, as announced by director Destin Daniel Cretton on Instagram. In an emotional tribute, Cretton expressed gratitude to everyone involved in creating what he calls the most rewarding film of his career.

He highlighted the contributions of lead actor Tom Holland, praising him for his “kind, generous leadership on and off screen,” along with his strong work ethic and exceptional performances. Cretton extended his appreciation to the entire cast and crew, emphasizing their hard work and creativity. “To our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters and moving us every day,” he remarked, further acknowledging the crew for their tireless efforts that brought humor and joy throughout the filming process.

Joining Holland in this exciting chapter of the Spider-Man saga are Mark Ruffalo, reprising his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk; Michael Mando, who returns as the Scorpion from “Spider-Man: Homecoming”; Jon Bernthal as the Punisher; and Sadie Sink from “Stranger Things,” who takes on a yet undisclosed role. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also back as Mary Jane and Ned respectively.

Throughout the filming period, Holland kept fans updated with sneak peeks, including the reveal of his new Spider-Man suit in early August. He shared several behind-the-scenes images, heightening anticipation for the film’s release.

In his heartfelt post, Cretton also took a moment to recognize the support of his family, acknowledging his wife, Nikki Chapman, for her strength and humor during the hectic production. He thanked his children for reminding him to take breaks and enjoy life outside of work.
