Tropical Disturbance TD03F is currently situated near the Solomon Islands, moving slowly and remaining poorly defined. According to Fiji Met, two additional low-pressure centers are affecting regional weather patterns. One of these centers is located southwest of TD03F, while the other is positioned just west of the Fiji Group and also to the southwest of TD03F.

In its 5-Day Tropical Cyclone outlook, the weather office noted that these low-pressure systems, in conjunction with TD03F, are anticipated to merge into a singular low-pressure system in the coming days, which may lead to further development. However, the likelihood of this system escalating into a tropical cyclone remains low.

As of Sunday, December 14, TD03F is expected to remain within the monitoring area with a minimal chance of evolving into a tropical cyclone. This low potential for tropical cyclone development is expected to persist through Wednesday.

Authorities are diligently monitoring the situation and are urging the public to stay informed through official weather bulletins as conditions continue to change. While the disturbance is currently not expected to intensify significantly, continued awareness will be beneficial for the region.
