Saskatchewan Roughriders celebrate Grey Cup win with Regina parade and province-wide homecoming

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are inviting fans across the province to join in the celebration of their recent Grey Cup victory, marking a historic moment for Rider Nation. Following their remarkable win in Winnipeg, the team will return home to a hero’s welcome on Monday, November 17th, culminating with a grand Championship Parade in Regina on Tuesday, November 18th. These events provide an opportunity for the entire community to unite in celebration of the Roughriders’ achievement.

The festivities kick off on November 17th at 1:30 p.m. outside SaskTel Gate 3 at Mosaic Stadium. Fans will gather at the Champions Deck, where the team will greet supporters and display the coveted Grey Cup, although there will be no time for autographs at this event. Parking at Mosaic Stadium will be available free of charge, allowing all attendees to partake in this spirited welcome home.

On November 18th, the Official Championship Parade will take place, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Roughriders will travel down the iconic Green Mile along Albert Street, escorted by vehicles from the Royal Canadian Armed Forces. The parade will conclude with a ceremony at the Saskatchewan Legislature featuring speeches from Head Coach Corey Mace and Grey Cup MVP, Quarterback Trevor Harris. This parade is expected to be a memorable occasion, providing fans and the team a chance to celebrate together.

To ensure a smooth experience for all, fans are encouraged to line the parade route on Albert Street starting at 13th Avenue, as road closures will be in effect along this path. Attendees should plan to park in nearby residential areas, as parking directly in front of the Legislature will not be available.

As anticipation builds, fans are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather and to observe safety during the festivities. This celebratory return aims to showcase the pride and spirit of Rider Nation, uniting communities in a joyous occasion that highlights the heartfelt connection between the team and its supporters.
