Lautoka Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the body of an i-Taukei woman found at Fenner Park on Thomson Crescent yesterday. The woman was discovered lying motionless near a tree and was without any identification. Authorities estimate her age to be between 20 and 30 years.
When she was found, she was wearing black shorts featuring a distinctive gorilla design on the front left side. In addition to this clothing, she had a ring on her left ring finger and red and white friendship beads on her left wrist, which may aid in her identification.
The police are encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact the Lautoka Police Station at 6660222. The cooperation of the community is crucial in resolving this tragic case and bringing closure to the woman’s family.
