In an emotional lead-up to their matchup against fifth-ranked Vanderbilt, the Lady Vols basketball team celebrated its 2026 Senior Day, honoring five players who are set to graduate. The ceremony highlighted the contributions of Janiah Barker, Zee Spearman, Nya Robertson, Jersey Wolfenbarger, and Kaiya Wynn, all of whom have made significant impacts on the team during their time at Tennessee.

Janiah Barker has distinguished herself this season as one of the Lady Vols’ top performers. Transferring in for her final year from Texas A&M and UCLA, Barker is averaging 13.9 points, leading the team with 6.6 rebounds, and contributing 1.2 assists per game across 25 appearances, including 19 starts.

Zee Spearman, in her second year with the team, transitioned from Miami to join head coach Kim Caldwell’s inaugural season. Spearman has consistently delivered, averaging 10.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.0 assists during 27 games, 24 of which she started.

Nya Robertson, who joined the program from George Washington and SMU, has also made her mark by averaging 8.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in her 27-game season, with 18 starts under her belt.

Jersey Wolfenbarger, another addition from the recent transfer class, has contributed in 18 games, averaging 1.1 points and 1.7 rebounds.

Lastly, Kaiya Wynn is the only player remaining from previous seasons under head coach Kellie Harper, completing her five years with the Lady Vols. This season, she has appeared in nine games.

The festivities captured the loyalty and hard work of these players, emphasizing their roles in the culture and success of the Lady Vols basketball program. As they close this chapter of their athletic careers, the future looks bright for both the athletes and the program, promising continued growth and success.
