Kelsey Grammer has expressed his excitement for the highly anticipated film, Avengers: Doomsday, where he reprises his iconic role as Hank McCoy, or Beast, from the X-Men franchise. In a recent interview with ComingSoon, Grammer shared his thoughts on the significance of being part of such a star-studded production.
Reflecting on a memorable scene he filmed alongside numerous other actors, Grammer noted, “Yeah. When we shot one of the scenes where there was a whole bunch of us standing around, I thought to myself, ‘Listen, it’s pretty cool [laughs].’” He highlighted the importance of embracing the fame associated with such projects, likening the experience to delivering famous lines in Shakespearean plays. Grammer stated, “The only way to really approach a famous line is to say it like it’s a famous line. When you’re in that situation and that many famous people are together, you gotta play it like it’s famous.”
Avengers: Doomsday boasts an impressive lineup, featuring established characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Notable stars confirmed to appear include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, and Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America. Other names attached to the film include Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, and Paul Rudd, along with several returning characters from the X-Men series, notably Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier and Ian McKellen as Magneto.
The film promises to intertwine various storylines from the Marvel universe, with fans eagerly awaiting its release on December 18, 2026. As the excitement builds, Grammer’s enthusiasm reflects the broader anticipation for a cinematic event that is set to unite both Avengers and X-Men characters in a groundbreaking way.
