A devastating Russian drone strike in eastern Ukraine has resulted in the deaths of twelve individuals near a company shuttle bus, as confirmed by regional authorities. Oleksandr Ganzha, the chief of the regional military administration, shared preliminary details via Telegram, indicating that another seven people sustained injuries from the attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The energy company DTEK, which operates in the area, reported that the shuttle bus was transporting its workers back from a mine at the time of the strike, labeling the incident a deliberate assault. This tragic event highlights the ongoing violence in the region, further exacerbated by separate attacks that occurred overnight and early Sunday, claiming the lives of at least three more individuals. In a particularly distressing incident, two women were injured while giving birth due to a drone strike on a maternity hospital.

The situation in Ukraine remains dire, as attacks continue to threaten the safety and well-being of civilians. However, amidst these challenges, the resilience and solidarity of local communities and organizations shine through, as they work tirelessly to support those affected. The hope for peace and stability continues to persist, even in the face of such harrowing circumstances.
