The recent inauguration of the multipurpose court at Lagilagi Housing has quickly positioned it as a vital sporting hub for the community. Richard Dyer, the coordinator for Inspire Pacific, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, which featured an exciting lineup, including a bouncy castle, games for children, family competitions, and a thrilling volleyball tournament with around 20 teams, mainly from Jittu Estate.
Dyer emphasized Inspire Pacific’s commitment to supporting local youth who face challenges like homelessness and loitering. “Today is all about fun day; it’s a Jittu Vuvale Community fun day, with 16 teams competing across various age groups,” he remarked. He took pride in the community’s engagement and the positive atmosphere such gatherings create.
