Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa kicked off the holiday season with a series of festive celebrations and community initiatives aimed at fostering joy and connection throughout December. The resort’s annual Festive Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 30 marked the start of the celebrations, bringing together team members and guests for an enchanting evening filled with Christmas carols performed by the acclaimed Hilton Fiji Team Choir, delicious eggnog, festive treats, and a special appearance by Santa Claus, delighting families and children alike.
In a reflection of their commitment to the community, the resort organized a Christmas Stationery Drive, where staff collected essential school supplies, including bags, notebooks, coloring materials, and games, to support children and families as they prepare for the new year. This initiative highlights the team’s dedication to giving back and uplifting those in need.
Additionally, the resort hosted a heartfelt Festive Luncheon for children, caregivers, and teachers from Nadi Special School, along with residents from Golden Age Home and Loloma Home. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous buffet prepared by Hilton Fiji’s culinary team, with many team members volunteering to serve, even on their days off, to make the day special.
Carey Osborne, Hilton’s Cluster General Manager for the Fiji Islands, expressed pride in her team’s efforts, stating, “Sharing the light and warmth of hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. Christmas is a time for giving, caring, and coming together, and we are incredibly proud of our team members who continue to go above and beyond to support and uplift our community. These moments truly reflect the spirit of Hilton and our everyday values.”
Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa will continue its festive programming throughout December, inviting both guests and the local community to embrace the magic of the holiday season with warmth and the true essence of Fijian hospitality.
