HONOLULU — The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors delivered a dominant performance on Wednesday night, overpowering Division-II Hawaii Hilo with a resounding 98-46 victory. Henry Rouhliadeff was a standout player, scoring 16 points while also contributing nine rebounds and five assists. He was joined by five other teammates who scored in double figures, highlighting the team’s strong offensive display.
Alongside Rouhliadeff, Dre Bullock added 12 points, and Hunter Erickson, Aaron Hunkin-Claytor, Gytis Nemeiksa, and Isaac Finlinson each contributed 11 points to the team’s overall tally. The Rainbow Warriors recorded an impressive shooting percentage of 51% from the field and showcased their sharpshooting ability by making 13 three-pointers. The team also excelled in ball movement, finishing the game with a season-high 25 assists on 35 made field goals, well above their average of 13.4 assists per game.
For Hawaii Hilo, Jamal Entezami led the scoring efforts with 11 points, while Jessiya Villa added 10 points.
This 52-point victory marks Hawaii’s largest since a 106-49 win over Redlands way back on January 28, 1972, and stands as the third-largest margin of victory in the program’s history. The Rainbow Warriors had previously won by 67 points against BYU Hawaii during the 1962-63 season, underscoring the team’s historical prowess on the court.
