Bula FC has made headlines with the recent acquisition of promising young goalkeeper Isoa Latui, who becomes the club’s 19th Warrior as they prepare for the upcoming season. The Rakiraki native has shown remarkable talent, rapidly rising through the ranks of school, club, and national age-grade football, marking an exciting chapter in his burgeoning career.

Latui’s football journey began in his early school years at Dreketi Sangam School, where he was introduced to the sport by a teacher. His pathway took a significant turn in Class 8 when his height prompted a shift to goalkeeping. This move proved pivotal as veteran coach Sunil Kumar recognized his potential. Latui subsequently attended Central College Lautoka, where by Form 3, he had already made the Fiji Under-15 national team.

His development continued within the Lautoka FC system, where he had the opportunity to play for both youth and senior teams, thanks to coach Shivam Raj. This year marked a significant milestone for Latui as he represented Fiji at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar, solidifying his status as one of the nation’s most promising young goalkeeping talents.

Signing his first professional contract with Bula FC is especially meaningful for Latui, who expressed gratitude for the sacrifices made by his family throughout his journey. Bula FC has warmly welcomed him to the club and expressed optimism that Latui will thrive and progress as he embarks on this professional stage. His story reflects not only personal achievement but also the vibrant future of Fijian football.
