The FMF Futsal Muslim IDC 2025 was officially launched today, marking an exciting milestone for the Fiji Muslim Sports Association’s annual futsal tournament. Set to unfold from November 14th to 16th, 2025, the event is proudly sponsored by Flour Mills of Fiji (FMF) and supported by Dayals Sawmillers Ltd and Safety Tyres and Rentals.
This year’s competition promises to showcase exhilarating futsal as premier district teams from all corners of Fiji vie for the championship. The official pool draws for the Premier Division revealed three competitive groups: Group A features Nadi, Sigatoka, Rewa, and Maro; Group B includes Ba, Maigania, Nasinu, and Suva; while Group C comprises Makoi, Navua, Valelevu, and Drasa.
The draw was held during a launch event attended by FMF representatives, the Fiji Football Association (FFA) CEO, FMSA officials, and team delegates. The association expressed its commitment to fostering unity, discipline, and sportsmanship within the Muslim football community, while capitalizing on the rising popularity of futsal in the region.
FMSA officials recognized the essential contributions of FMF and other sponsors in promoting grassroots football in Fiji. The tournament not only highlights top-tier competition but also serves as an essential platform for emerging young talents to showcase their skills with the hope of national representation.
