The Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) has reported a pass rate of 74 percent for the year 2025, as announced by Education Minister Aseri Radrodro. A total of 12,020 students participated in the examination, which marks a small decline from the previous year—2024, when 12,868 students had a pass rate of 76 percent.

Minister Radrodro emphasized the vital contributions of school heads, teachers, parents, guardians, and school management committees in supporting students throughout their educational experiences. Their collective efforts have played an essential role in guiding students toward their academic achievements, despite the minor decline in overall performance.

Positively, five secondary schools achieved a remarkable 100 percent pass rate in the 2025 examination, surpassing the four schools that accomplished this feat in 2024. The schools with this perfect pass rate include Nadarivatu High School, Levuka Public School, Rabi High School, Valebasoga Secondary School, and Duavata Secondary School.

Moreover, five government schools have been recognized for significantly improving their overall pass rates. These schools are Levuka Public School, Queen Victoria School, Sila Central High School, Suva Grammar School, and Nasinu Secondary School, showcasing the ongoing commitment to educational improvement across the region.

The provisional results for the FY12CE will be made public tomorrow, offering further insight into the academic performance of Fiji’s students. With these commendable achievements, the future of education in Fiji looks promising as schools continue to strive for excellence.
