The adverse weather conditions have been attributed to a lingering trough of low pressure, which is causing extensive cloud cover and persistent showers throughout the nation. Recent observations from the Nasinu rainfall station have recorded concerning levels of precipitation, with a staggering 79.5mm of rain recorded within just six hours.
