In the 24th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe is set to face Antalyaspor away from home, with significant changes made to the squad by coach Domenico Tedesco. For this match, Tedesco opted to make five changes from the eleven that played against Nottingham Forest.

Goalkeeper Ederson and Jayden Oosterwolde return to the lineup. In contrast, Tarık Çetin and Mert Müldür have been placed on the bench. Levent Mercan steps in as the left-back, substituting for Archie Brown, while Nelson Semedo and Marco Asensio take the places of Oğuz Aydın and Dorgeles Nene.

Fenerbahçe’s starting eleven for the match is as follows: Ederson, Nelson Semedo, Yiğit Efe Demir, Jayden Oosterwolde, Levent Mercan, Matteo Guendouzi, N’Golo Kante, İsmail Yüksek, Marco Asensio, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, and Sidiki Cherif. On the substitutes’ bench are Tarık Çetin, Mert Günok, Archie Brown, Mert Müldür, Kamil Efe Üregen, Fred, Oğuz Aydın, Anthony Musaba, Dorgeles Nene, and Alaettin Ekici.

Both Ederson and Oosterwolde had been dealing with injuries after the match against Kasımpaşa but had expressed their desire to play ahead of the game against Antalyaspor. Tedesco listened to their request and included them in the starting eleven.

However, the match will see a notable absence on the sidelines, as Fenerbahçe’s head coach Domenico Tedesco has been unable to participate due to illness. He is currently under observation for a viral infection and high fever. In his stead, Zeki Murat Göle will lead the team. Göle has previously managed the squad in the Trendyol Süper Lig against Gençlerbirliği and in the UEFA Europa League against Brann this season.

The team is hopeful of a positive outcome amidst the changes and challenges, aiming to secure crucial points as they continue their campaign in the league.
