Creighton Men’s Soccer Trio Named to 2025 Academic All-District Team

Creighton University’s Men’s Soccer team has achieved a significant honor with three student-athletes named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Men’s Soccer team, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). This recognition highlights the outstanding performance of student-athletes both on the field and in the classroom.

The honorees include forward Arilla, who boasts a 3.51 GPA in Communications and was recognized as an All-BIG EAST First Team player for his impressive season, scoring six goals and providing four assists. His contributions were crucial in several matches, including game-winning goals in victories over DePaul and Butler, where he also assisted in another goal, showcasing his impact on the team’s success.

Defender Foulks, majoring in Physics and Math, earned an exceptional 3.94 GPA. He was instrumental in the defense, helping the Bluejays achieve seven shutouts throughout the season. Foulks started in 11 games, demonstrating his commitment and skill on the field.

Ramadan, with a GPA of 3.59 in Business Analytics, played a vital role coming off the bench. He started the season strong, participating in all 16 games and scoring a pivotal game-winning goal against Oral Roberts.

This year marks a milestone for the Creighton Men’s Soccer program, as the three recognitions are the most since five Bluejays were honored in 2019. Creighton’s strong academic performance complements their competitive achievement, finishing the season with an overall record of 8-4-4 under the leadership of their coach, Torres.

The initiative aims to recognize student-athletes who excel in their respective sports while maintaining impressive academic standards, with nominees required to hold at least a 3.50 GPA. This honor not only highlights individual excellence but also reflects the supportive educational environment at Creighton, fostering well-rounded achievements for student-athletes.
