Beginning November 1, select locations across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire will offer a Kids Hamburger, Small Fry, and Kids Drink for just one dollar. This initiative is aimed at federal government employees, military families, and recipients of SNAP or EBT.
The effort is spearheaded by Akash Management LLC, a franchise group responsible for managing various Carl’s Jr. restaurants in Southern California. Amir Siddiqi, the Owner and CEO of Akash Management, emphasized the company’s commitment to the community, stating, “Our commitment has always been to the neighborhoods we serve. We live here. We work here. We raise our families here. When our community is under stress, we feel it too.”
For those wishing to take advantage of this offer, the process is simple and straightforward. There are no complicated sign-ups; participants merely need to present a valid Federal Employee ID, Military ID, or SNAP/EBT card at the counter or drive-thru. The $1 meal deal will be available for as long as the government shutdown persists, while supplies last.
Siddiqi stressed the importance of community support during difficult times, saying, “In moments like this, being a good neighbor means stepping forward. Our job is to feed our community, so we’re making it as easy, comfortable, and respectful as possible for our neighbors to get a hot meal.”
