In a decisive matchup in Sacramento, the Phoenix Suns overcame the Kings with a score of 114-103, marking their fourth consecutive victory over the struggling team this season. This win improved the Suns’ record to 35-26, positioning them seventh in the Western Conference standings.

The Suns were energized by the return of star guard Devin Booker, who made a noticeable impact after missing four games due to a right hip injury. He posted 17 points, with 14 coming in a strong first half. Jalen Green led the scoring for Phoenix with 20 points, while Grayson Allen contributed 18 points to the win. Collin Gillespie displayed an impressive performance as well, scoring 17 points along with nine assists and six rebounds. Oso Ighodaro had a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, stepping up in the absence of Dillon Brooks, who is sidelined with a fractured left hand.

The turning point of the game came in the third quarter when the Suns embarked on a powerful 14-0 run, transforming a narrow 63-62 deficit into a commanding 76-63 lead, highlighted by Royce O’Neale’s consecutive three-pointers.

On the other side, the Kings, now positioned at the bottom of the NBA standings with a record of 14-49, saw Maxime Raynaud score 22 points on an efficient 10-of-12 shooting. He also grabbed 10 rebounds. Sacramento has struggled throughout the season and is currently recovering from a franchise-worst 16-game losing streak. Their lineup was hampered by injuries, including the absence of up-and-coming forward Keegan Murray, who missed his third straight game due to an ankle injury.

Looking ahead, the Suns will host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, while the Kings will face the New Orleans Pelicans on the same evening.
