The Topps Company has officially announced that the highly anticipated 2026 Topps Series 1 will hit stores on Wednesday, February 11. As part of their preorder options, collectors will have the choice between various formats: blaster boxes priced at $24.99, mega boxes at $49.99, hobby boxes at $99.99—which includes one guaranteed auto or relic—and jumbo boxes for $199.99, which come with one guaranteed auto and one guaranteed relic. Additionally, fans can also purchase a set of three “holiday egg tins” for $44.99.

This year marks a significant milestone for Topps, commemorating 75 years since the release of their first set of baseball cards in 1951. To celebrate this historic achievement, a special “Topps 75” logo will feature prominently in the 2026 flagship release, which will be available for preorder starting January 13 at noon ET.

On January 6, Topps unveiled the design for the series, which will also be used throughout their releases for the year, including the Chrome and Gilded formats. The design highlights the new “Topps 75” logo along with a unique stitching effect on the left side of the card, with the outer border set to change depending on the various parallels.

Among the notable rookies in the upcoming set will be Jac Caglianone, alongside former Baseball America No. 1 prospect Roman Anthony. This particular card is expected to be one of the rare instances in Topps history, showcasing both the rookie card “RC” logo and the “Topps All-Star Rookie” cup logo. Additional confirmed rookie cards will feature players Jacob Misiorowski and Jonah Tong.

In a nod to nostalgia, Series 1 will include a subset steered in the style of the 1991 Topps cards, marking the 35th anniversary of that beloved release. Topps has also indicated that numerous special inserts will be themed around their 75th anniversary, emphasizing the legacy of Topps Baseball with anniversary-themed inserts and signatures, including unique Cover Athlete cards and die-cut autographs.

The recently released images showcase some intriguing autographs, including that of reigning NL Cy Young winner Paul Skenes, while the box covers will feature baseball legends Hank Aaron, Ken Griffey Jr., Shohei Ohtani, and Aaron Judge, proudly displaying the “Topps 75” logo.

One significant update for collectors involves the jumbo box format, which has historically included three “hits” (a blend of autographs and relics). The upcoming 2026 jumbo box will now provide one autograph and one relic per box.

Enthusiasts and collectors can stay tuned to Baseball America’s cards and collectibles home page for additional updates and a complete checklist as more details about the 2026 Topps Series 1 become available.
