Meanwhile, the sea surface temperatures around the area are approximately 29 degrees Celsius, conditions typically favorable for cyclone formation.

Despite these somewhat conducive factors, global weather models predict that TD08F will likely drift southeast without significant intensification. The Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre in Nadi, Fiji, reinforces that the likelihood of TD08F transitioning into a tropical cyclone is minimal.
