Lautoka’s Sterling Vasconcellos has officially joined Fiji’s first professional football club, Bula FC, ahead of the upcoming OFC Pro League season. Vasconcellos, a native of Lautoka, began his football journey at Dreketi Sangam Primary School and progressed through the Lautoka youth system. He showcased his talent by representing the Lautoka Blues at various age levels, from U10 to U19.

At just 17, Vasconcellos made significant strides by breaking into the Lautoka senior team and also represented Fiji in various age-grade competitions. His career took an international turn when he secured a one-year contract with Eastern Suburbs in New Zealand. This experience further honed his skills and provided him with invaluable exposure on the global stage.

Now at the age of 20, Vasconcellos expressed gratitude for the opportunity to sign a professional contract with Bula FC.
