St. Louis CITY SC is set to kick off its fourth season in Major League Soccer (MLS) on Saturday, February 21, against Charlotte FC at Energizer Park. This season marks a significant milestone as the club has released its complete 34-match 2026 regular-season schedule, which will also see all matches streamed live on Apple TV.
The season opener against Charlotte FC will take place at 1:30 PM CT and is one of the earliest kickoffs in the club’s history. Following the home opener, CITY SC will face an intense beginning, going up against three of the top five teams from the Western Conference in 2025: San Diego, Seattle, and LAFC. After their match against New England, the team will embark on a challenging three-game road trip with matches against NYCFC, FC Dallas, and Seattle.
CITY SC’s last game before the FIFA World Cup break will be held at home against Austin on May 23, and they will resume play on July 16 with another home match against Sporting Kansas City, just days before the World Cup final.
Fans eager to catch the home opener can purchase tickets starting with a presale on December 3 at 10:00 AM CT, followed by a general sale on December 5 on various platforms including seatgeek.com, as well as through the official STL CITY SC app. Additional single-match tickets will become available for presale in early February 2026.
The season includes three nationally broadcasted matches, with games scheduled on FS1 and FOX, alongside three Sunday Night Soccer home games. Fans will see a mix of locations as CITY SC prepares for a balanced home and away schedule, including notable fixtures such as their first-ever visit to Citi Field on April 4 and the highly anticipated encounter with the New York Red Bulls on September 26.
Overall, the 2026 season presents exciting opportunities for St. Louis CITY SC as it aims to build upon its previous seasons in the MLS. The anticipation surrounding the matches, particularly the rivalry encounters and the unique first-time visits to major venues, promises a thrilling year for players and fans alike.
