Fans of “Saturday Night Live” will have to wait a little longer for their weekly dose of comedy. The iconic sketch show has been on a brief hiatus since its last episode aired on January 31, leading to three weeks without new content. However, anticipation builds as “SNL” is set to return on Saturday, February 28, with actor Connor Storrie, known for his role in “Heated Rivalry,” making his hosting debut alongside the musical group Mumford & Sons, which will be performing for the fourth time on the show.

Following Storrie’s episode, NBC plans to air another new installment on March 14, with popular actor Ryan Gosling returning to the hosting duties. Details regarding the musical guest for this episode are yet to be announced.

The recent break in programming is due to NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics, which has preempted regular schedules. Fans can look forward to the show’s return on February 28, with new episodes airing at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT on NBC. For those unable to watch live, episodes will be available for streaming on Peacock the following day, and a library of past sketches can be enjoyed anytime on the platform.

The return of “SNL” promises to bring laughter back into Saturday nights, giving fans something to look forward to as the show resumes its entertaining and satirical take on current events and celebrity culture.
