“SNL” is set to jumpstart 2026 with an exciting lineup of hosts and musical guests as it returns to Studio 8H for a series of three straight episodes this month. Notably, Finn Wolfhard, known for his role in “Stranger Things,” will take the stage as host for the episode airing on January 17, with hip-hop artist A$AP Rocky making his debut as musical guest.

Following Wolfhard, Teyana Taylor is scheduled to host the January 24 episode, coinciding with the promotional campaign for her film “One Battle After Another.” During her episode, Geese will provide the musical entertainment.

The final installment of January will feature Alexander Skarsgård as host on January 31, marking his first appearance as an “SNL” host. Cardi B, who is set to perform for the second time, will join him on stage. This episode is particularly notable as it comes shortly after the release of Skarsgård’s upcoming film “The Moment” and follows Cardi B’s latest album release, “Am I the Drama?” in September.

“SNL” returned from its winter hiatus with a memorable finale in December, hosted by Ariana Grande, which also marked the emotional departure of long-standing cast member Bowen Yang after an impressive seven-season run. The episode saw musical performance by Cher, who joined Grande and Yang in a heartfelt sketch dedicated to Yang’s time on the show.

Season 51 of “SNL” has also featured a diverse lineup of hosts, including familiar faces like Amy Poehler and fresh talents such as Sabrina Carpenter and Miles Teller. With the anticipation building for these new episodes, fans can expect a mix of humor and music, as well as the debut performances from some of the talents involved.
