The body of a 65-year-old farmer from Cogea Village has been recovered after being swept away by strong currents. Authorities announced that the victim’s body was discovered on the afternoon of January 15, 2026. In accordance with standard procedures, the body was transferred to the mortuary at Nabouwalu Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
